Anomalous Retinal Correspondence (ARC)

ARC is a diagnosis often associated with strabismus. It means that one of the eyes is not using the central part of the retina (the part with the best vision) to correspond (match up with) the central part of the fellow eye. It is an adaptation that can make it difficult to treat the underlying binocular vision disorder.
